Can anyone explain how the club still had tickets available last saturday? I couldn't get to the ground on the Thursday (live near london and was working) When I saw the length of the queue in the paper I was sure I had missed out I'm certain I read that the club had put up a sign saying that beyond some point in the queue people were not guaranteed a ticket Tried ringing on Friday for over 6 hours so really felt sure i had missed out - I regularly buy tickets on line and had been to the SF On Friday evening I was amazed to see that tickets were still available and that the ticket office was to be open on the Sat morning I rang - got through - and got two amazing tickets. They said they only had £115 tickets available We are in block 103 right by the side of block 102 - twelve rows away from the £1,600 seats I really thought at that late stage there wouldn't have been such 'good' seats available?
The club did tell people towards the end of the queue that there was a chance they wouldn't get tickets and some did leave, but in the end they didn't run out. I assume they were just trying to avoid a situation where people queued for hours, then got to the end and found there were none left and kicked off. We also got a small additional allocation of £115 seats at the end of the week.
