Dear Mr Allam, Could you come up with a deal for all the remaining home games, if you but tickets for all the games you get priority for next seasons pass?? Reduce the price to £18 Adults and £3 kids, fill the stadium when we need it most. It would sell out. Thanks.
I doubt that will be needed. The April / May games sell themselves and with Nottingham Forest due on the 16th March that just leaves Birmingham City @ home on saturday 2nd March. Maybe a deal for this one would be ok. imo
Maybe do a few "Kids for a quid" deals here and there. Games like Watford, Middlesbrough and Cardiff shouldn't (Shouldn't) need any deals to entice fans in. Birmingham could be the game for a deal IMO.
I think the owners are more worried about the backlash from season ticket holders - who put their hands in their pockets upfront and paid. Heavy discounts do not reward loyal fans. That said, as a season ticket holder I don't care if they drop prices and fill the place. I took my chance up front and paid for a seat. Life is a risk!
Would love to see the west side of the North Stand filled with kids again. Last time they filled it we had more noise and an added atmosphere to the home crowd.
I agree we need to get more in and help push the Tigers over the line, having said that we have just had kids for free with an adult and all pass holders can take someone for a fiver, i expected at least 2 to 3000 to take up the offer but the crowds didn't really increase
This. How many promotions have we run this season? And how much higher than average have the gates been? I was saying this to the guy next to me at the last game, all the "it's too expensive so I can't afford to go" crap we've had to hear has been bollocks. There'll be some cases where it's genuine because it's impossible it hasn't had any effect what so ever, but for the majority that are staying away and saying that you can guarantee they'd have the money if we were in the PL. If it was a genuine case of them all not being able to afford it then when we had these promotions we would be seeing vastly increased gates, especially as if they can't afford to go every game then they're saving a fortune the rest of the time that should make them be more than able to afford a game here and there.
100% agreed. I pay more than most for my seat. BUT i have no issues at all with offers for seats that would normally remain empty. FFS, lets fill the place for Birmingham even if some adults only pay a tenner. Concessions a fiver and kids under 12 a quid or free. Nottingham Forest could well bring the best away support since TWS back in december 2012.
I would also suggest that many fans are waiting for the big games in April and May. Like many did with the 2 festive home games.
Doing kids for a quid brings in a lot more, the amount of blokes I saw with kids trying to find their seats all game for the...was it the Charlton game?
There are far more variables than that though Ricardo. Some of the people who cannot afford it don't have kids so could not take advantage of the offer. Others (like me) would have loved to have taken advantage of the offer, but not living in Hull I could not get hold of the HDM. Even if I could I would still have had to drive to Hull and back during work time to collect the tickets which wasn't feasible. And while reducing the ticket prices and the other promotions are a good idea (and will get more people through the gates), the day as whole for a family, when you take into account ticket prices, travel expenses, refreshments etc is still beyond a lot of peoples' means in the current climate.
Seems Hull City have set something up for the final 6 home matches. http://www.hullcityafc.net/news/article/tigers-super-six-669137.aspx?
That's great. So the people who are already fans will see it. We need to get out there and advertise properly to the thousands of people in Hull who consider themselves football fans but don't watch live football.
They should giving tickets away to schools & to teams in the Hull Boys League. Get the kids indoctrinated.
Just bought one for my son and I. Hopefully don't need them but guarantees opportunity to buy tickets for playoffs and to stand in the first queue for any play off final. Great deal.
