    Early predictions?

27 points from the remaining games, plus a decent cup run.

How many games are people planning to make? A lot of London trips, and with the TV always taking the piss now, I think trips to Arsenal and Chelsea are going to be really expensive.

That would make for quite a nice end of season tally!

    60 points?

Since 05/06 only once has that total not resulted in European qualification! Considering Liverpool or City will probably win the League Cup and the FA Cup will be keenly contended, I reckon 7th might be enough for the Europa League, which would, at the minute and with that points total, probably see us right!

If that was the case, this would have to go down as one of the best season in recent history when you consider budget, outgoing players and previous expectations!

To be fair though, I've been fairly realistic don't you think?

Aye definitely, a point at Stamford Bridge is ambitious but not unrealistic whilst a few of the away losses will no doubt bear fruit, so in the grand scheme of things - 27 points is great, but fair!

EDIT: Having said that, I do think we should win against Blackburn away...Their home form is ****e, if we start the game well their fans will get on the player's backs and there's a fair chance Samba might've been sold by then leaving them even lighter at the back!

If we can stay tight on Yakubu and keep Pederson quiet they don't have much else going for them!

Why a draw vs the Mackems at home?

We'll have Tiote and Ba back.

That's a win IMO. Tough game but a win.

Everton? Really? Pretty confident we'll finish above them like. Stoke, Fulham and the mackems will be our main rivals I reckon.

I see Badger's predictions as being about right. Sort of hope we don't get Europe. It'll be good for attracting players and for prestige but our squad's thin as it as. It's only since the break in fixtures/ being knocked out that Stoke, Fulham and Birmingham have lived up to league expectations.

33 points from remaining games (maybe a little optimistic) 66 points <ok>

Highlighted games are the ones I have tickets or have blagged a season ticket for.

Not looking forward to the derby. The law of averages probably won't see us keeping up our good record, and I reckon by that time we'll probably be fighting for the same league places. Gonna be pretty spicy!

I seriously considered never going to another game after the 5-1, nothing will ever top that.
