I have been looking who plays who for the rest of the season, and i would say there will be plenty of ups plenty of downs. And maybe a few surprise results to come.
Top 2 will be tight and race for playoffs also, i hope my finger nails are long enough to last out.

Hull seem to have the easiest fixtures 2 tough games compared to Peterboro who have 4 look at their last 4 games !.
7 wins will promote us or w6-d3-L2 to 85 points.

lot of the top teams/form teams (at present) have to play each other yet...this is gonna be a nail biter, i have always stood by this squad being more than good enough to get us promoted, since dion, jones, winchester especially have come in we look even stronger, (not seen enough of vokins) but with players coming back from injury i feel we have the strongest squad for the run in.

Recent results have shown that the level of the opposition isn't any real guide.

Teams who've been written off, like Burton, Shrewsbury, Blackpool, etc, have unexpected spurts and beat sides at the top.

Teams who've been declared as 'them plus one other for promotion' suddenly implode and look like they'll never win again.

This was Peterborough at the start of this month ...

    1 Peterborough 30 25 61
    2 Lincoln City 30 18 57
    3 Hull 32 24 56
    4 Portsmouth 30 19 52
    5 Sunderland 30 20 51
    6 Doncaster 28 11 49

This is them just a few weeks later ...

    1 Hull 37 32 69
    2 Peterborough 36 21 66 - 5 points gained
    3 Sunderland 35 27 64 - 13 points gained
    4 Lincoln City 36 16 62
    5 Doncaster 34 9 57
    6 Blackpool 34 12 56

Things can change so quickly and it's all about keeping/losing your nerve.

Peterboroughs last five games will see them not finishing top two. We have a very decent final 4 games imo

In my view, its the relegation teams who have something to really fight for - survival - that will shape the season.
Woe betide anyone playing Burton, Swindon, Northampton, Bristol Rovers, Wigan, AFC Wimbledon and Rochdale. None are dead and buried - it is a equally fierce there as up top.
On that logic Hull have nailed it
    Posh are fooked
    SAFC are good also

Posh and Lincoln have imploded - 5 points from 6 games each. Peterborough really have missed Szmodics.
Donny have blown it and lost their manager - 8 from 6
Hull and Us both in good form 13 from 5

If us and Hull keep our foot on the pedal for the next 5 games we'll knock the stuffing out of the chasing pack mate.

was just about to post about the 'games played' side of smugs list...that shows more than just league positions imho.

this is why i think the likes of blackpool are going to surprise a few in the run in, not great news as we have to play them twice, that said, they would not be the first 'form team' we have played and we beat the rest...our main worry games are hull and posh, beat them two (or at least get draws) and i would say we are up.

I've said the same about Blackpool. The thing is though, there seems to be loads of clubs in this League who go on great runs, then revert back to ****e.

Oxford went from being near the bottom to the verge of the Play Offs, before slipping away. Burton have pulled away from the bottom with a great run, then lost their last few. Hopefully, Blackpool will be the same. At least Embo can't play against us.

Hulls run in is very favourable, can’t see them messing that up.

Can't wait for our game at Hull, be great to win there and go top ...

... I never felt confident with Ross in this position.

This feels more like the Keane promotion season. At Easter we went to Southampton and were deservedly losing. From nowhere we fired two goals in and took all three points. To cap it all we'd gone down without tickets and all got in with the
Saints 'kids for a quid' scheme <party>

Knew they would come back and win, the game just had that vibe to it. Massive boost for us that.
