Scored a winning goal at the New Wembley.

Woodgate always welcome at the Lane.

    How is he over rated?

If he didn't have injury problems (no fault of his) then muppets like John Terry wouldn't even be in the England first 11 let alone the Captain.

Great defender, hope he goes back to Leeds and takes them back to the PL.

He's an outstanding player whose career has been blighted by injury.
If both him and King were fully fit and injury free, then they'd be the best English central defensive pairing in the country.

It's a bit galling that he turned down a pay-as-you-play deal, after only putting together 4 performances in the last 2 seasons, but I'm actually quite glad that he's going.
We've already got one player in that position with extremely questionable fitness, so we need the rest of our options to be available as often as possible.

As CH rightly points out though, he did score the winning goal against Chelsea at Wembley, so he'll always get a good reception at WHL and rightly so, too.
Good luck to him in the future, even if he does go back to Leeds.
