The Darkside of the Moon
Well the season is over. And we can sigh a bit of relief we won't have the tag of only staying up on merit with Portsmouth point deduction. Barnsley can have that.

But well done today City a point won away, and with not a recognised goalie for the last 30 minutes, sods law the one game you don't have a goalie on the bench and we get an injury to ours.

But that's it done and finished with

Now we move onto the speculation season of who goes and who we sign.

Yes and congrats to the Sags.. they managed to stay in the fourth division.

It was looking dodgy for them at one stage..:emoticon-0142-happy:emoticon-0142-happy

nice to see taylor getting on the scoresheet expecting big things from him next season if he stays fit
Indeed, talk about seizing the opportunity. Depending how pre-season goes I think we do only need the one extra striker come august. Though who knows how this summer is going to unravel.

All in all it's been a similar season to the previous really, hasn't it? Except instead of Millen getting the good form out of the players he was unfortunately the fellow who made us come closest to dropping out of the league. I don't know what to expect next year... Can the Championship really continue to get stronger and more competitive? Wolves are coming down and they're more than set to bounce back up again given the right management. God only knows what sort of force West Ham could become if they fail in the play-offs as well. But I have faith in McInnes, just like most here. Dodgy finances, stadium issues - the future still seems brighter despite them.

it was a lovely goal too, the boys played very well today, it wasn't the most exciting game but we had a solid game, Wood has to be one of the least confident strikers in the world, in the first half a ball was played to him and he was around 5-8 yards from goal i don't know what he was doing but he didnt shoot and instead waited to get tackled, not been impressed by him at all. Woolford played alright..... one or two odd things but overall had a good game.

Del really needs to add quality into this team, i believe he will, things should look good from now on <ok>

Ending the season on a little unbeaten run is fanastic.

I hope the boys carry their newly found confidence into next season. Just looking for some progress, not to be the Barcelona of the Championship !

Bristol Rovers finished 12th in the basement league,congratulations....

Thanks Mate. Good solid position. No squeaky bums!

Just don't let yourselves get carried away with the plonker pundits predictions for next season. You only get what you EARN!
