    I thought they were going to leave him there for the duration of the Olympics as some sort of attraction. Like the rings hanging off the bridge.

    GB SHOULD win at least another 3 gold medals just in the track cycling over the next few days.

    Jason Kenny, Victoria Pendleton and Sir Chris Hoy look like certainties

    Jason Kenny eat my bicycle shorts - one up over the Frenchmen Bauge in the final. He just took him apart in that first heat, what a blistering finish.

    Well, it all ended as a draw with South Africa still leading the series 1-0.

    Now, in order to square the series we need to win the third and final test at Lord's. I have every respect for South Africa, they are a fine team with a lot of skill and plenty of guts to go with. But I think I've come up with the perfect eleven to beat them handsomely next time up. It is;

    Jason Kenny (opener)
    Victoria Pendleton (opener)
    Bradley Wiggins (number three)
    Sir Chris Hoy (capt.)
    Nick Skelton
    Jessica Ennis (fine allrounder)
    Ben Ainslie (w/k)
    Ed Clancy (spinner)
    Christina with da funny name (fast/medium pace)
    Greg Rutherford (long hop specialist bowler)
    Mo Farah (fast pace)

    Nee problem with this lot beating the Saffers <ok>
