My favourite period of owning a season ticket the Reidy years, some amazing memories!

We had a squad to be proud of then....If Jack Ross is given the time and backing, I have a good feeling he could do similar.

I repeat this story, from Niall's book for any that have not read it.

Just before the Charlton play off final, the Club got an irate letter from some night club where, it seems, Micky Gray had been something of a nuisance.
Apparently Micky did his, 'DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM' performance to an audience that was unimpressed.

We now go to the Team Bus after the defeat, heading up the A1.
A very subdued atmosphere as you might expect. You could taste the misery.
Then up come Bobby Saxtons dulcet tones.

Hey Micky, next time you get pissed in a Night Club and ask, 'DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM', you know what they're gonna say?
YEAH, YOU'RE THE C**T WHO MISSED THAT PENALTY AT WEMBLEY

The whole bus erupted and the atmosphere changed immediately from misery to, 'next time we'll get it right'.
