    So far we've got 11 pts from a possible 42 = 26% "success".

To get to 40 pts (remember that blackpool went down on 39), that needs to leap to 40% success.

    i.e. 29 pts from 72 still to play for = 40%

Put another way we need to average better than a point a game.

When you go thru our remaining games you start to see how massive tomorrow's game is, because after that it gets harder.
Unless he can pull a rabbit out of the hat in the Jan window, I'll settle for MoN just keeping us up and save the champagne for next season.

Sam, you wouldn't be THE Sunderland Sam would you, wait a minute, no you can't be, Sammy can't read and write and as for percentages he would be like an aborigine looking at a jet engine.

So far this season we've seen in glimpses what the team 'can' do when they get their act together, MON will build the confidence up and instill some consistency into them. If he does that then we will be OK, on our day we are a match for most teams maybe bar the big 4.
