Reg Quantrill - Wurzels - RIP...

    Very sad news,Reg Quantrill,banjo player and one of the original Wurzels on Combine Harvester,friend of Adge Cutler died yesterday aged 77..

    Best wishes to family and friends.

    Replaced by Pete Budd in 1974 and much to my suprise he was not on Combine Harvester,it was Pete Budd...

    Thanks Wiz only know their songs not a great deal about them, wife booked it as a birthday surprise not a good one as I knew when she tried paying the money to her friend when I was in the next room;)

    Such sad news about Reg - thanks for posting Wiz.

    Saw the Wurzels late 60's in some social club bedecked with hay bales near Midsomer Norton.
    For me it was Adge who was the absolute legend and never thought they were anywhere near as good after his death in '74.

    for some reason i allways remember a song called, thees casnt kill cooch, no idea what it was about though, but virtute et industrial great song..... just where they gos nobody knows and taint no bloody wonder..
