Having had sometime to think and some kip after a trip back from spurs i have to say the main man for spurs was erickson and he ran the show from start to finnish,to watch this pan out before my eyes i was puzzled why this player was allowed so much freedom without being marked in any way, surely the player making another team tick should be nullified in some way,the choice of bridcutt over colback is to me a mistake by gus, if it favourship because of the past who knows.
Cattermole was very good and it was no surprise he ran out of steam he really did put in a huge effort from holding to moving forward, johnson and borrini were too far apart coupled with johnsons lack of work rate without the ball made it a comfortable night for spurs, all in all outdone by a better side on the night football wise and it was little wonder the heads dropped towards the end.
Us travelling fans once again were brilliant in the terms of support and for a short time were on a high after the goal, what the answer is to our plight i dont know but im sure that bridcott and scocco offer nothing as prem players imo,

And believe it or not despite the score it was not as bad as the norwich game, the players have limitations within themselves and as a team the evidence is there to see our failings ,the team captaincy should by catts efforts be given back to him he is leading by example by effort alone ,still games to be played and still points to be dropped by others and won by us,the players trudged off at the end and i hope spirits can be lifted somewhat before everton are upon us,theres still a glimmer but not much if the form table runs true, but it is a strange game at times as we know ,lets go down fighting all the way if possible.

All credit to the travelling fans Stu, you's made a lot of noise right up until the game was dead. Not sure how it was in the stadium but on TV it sounded like we outnumbered them, fair play marra, pat on the back.

true ,he had the freedom to do whatever he wanted last night ,i and others thought he should have been man marked as the game developed, gus must have thought it wasnt needed but what do we know we only pay to watch and cannot do nothing as opposed to getting paid and doing nothing.

    keep tweeting by the way

Man marking seems to have gone out of the game altogether these days, it has certainly worked in the past and would have helped greatly last night, going back to Colback he had one of his best games last year at Spurs, a game in which we were unlucky to lose.

colback vs bridcutt i cannot see why jack has been neglected of late ,if bridcutt was pulling up trees ok but he isnt and his lack of experience shows

Jack is a class above Bridcutt,in my opinion....we have missed him,as,unlike some,he always gives 100%!!!!

Colbacks head has been turned and he must have a bad attitude because he has been dropped when for me bridcutt is useless at this level..
When he stayed on and catts went off yesterday I wasn't pleased "to say the least"

Bad crack tbh cause I like jack and if we do go down he would be outstanding in the championship imo.

Colback will be playing next to Huddlestone at Hull next season. Wouldn't be shocked to see Brucie come after a few more (Gardner, Larsson, Bardsley)

Surely we can offer Jack a deal to stop with SAFC that will be better than what Hull can offer!!
