After Rodgers questioned Lee Mason who is a bit of a chubber in our game against Citeh and after seeing Jonathan Moss in Arsenal v Cardiff who is also carrying a bit of timber do you think that PL refs should be required to meet a base level of fitness? Surely a basic fitness requirement would help improve refereeing standards as they'd be more able to keep up with the pace of the game, let's bear in mind they have to follow elite athletes around for 90 minutes week in week out. Might help stop some of the shocking decisions we're seeing.

The tail wags the dog, the ref's association is like the masons, the FA are **** scared of them and let them do what the **** they want.
Proof being they decide which official has had a poor performance instead of their employers(the FA).

They've all been guzzling Fergie's wine cellar since he left Old Trafford.

They already do have to pass a reasonably high fitness test don't they?

I think the same thing about the police, you watch some of these cop shows on Channel 5 etc and some of these fellas look like they wouldn't be able to chase a Big Mac in its paper bag let alone catch the fecker.

  13. I thought our ref was poor again today. I really wanted Brod and Bruce to both say something. BR to show he's not just saying it because we lost, SB to give the claims a bit more weight.

    Freudian slip? <laugh>

I said as much on another thread. The game's moving faster than the refs can keep up with.

Well our Brendan certainly isn't adding more weight - he's looking thinner than ever!

What with the new teeth and all, he's certainly had an image overhaul. Maybe preparing for his press reports when we win the title .....

Have to say that although we won this weekend, it was the third game in a row where the referees displayed undue lenience to our opposition. I can't believe how much Suarez gets battered without reward.....Hendo seems to have become a target too....when will referees start to dish out appropriate punishment? I hope BR is compiling a dossier on all of the horrendous decisions against us recently......it's becoming laughable and ref's need to be demoted accordingly. On the upside, was funny to see Webb feck up and not award a pen at OT....silver lining to ****e refereeing.
