We could simply find referees for the match ourselves. I'll be more than happy to put myself forward.

They should wait for the outcome of the FA inquiry before hanging Chelsea out to dry, if as stated referees already have an issue with officiating games at SB those involved should be scrutinized to see if their past performances at Chelsea have been fair.

Any refusal to officiate a Chelsea home game should be met with instant dismissal from the pro-ref roster, blackmailing the FA into finding Clattenburg innocent is pathetic.

This is true, at this stage if any REF refused to take on the game or was purposely going against Chelsea in games should be switfully removed from there job.

I do wonder what sort of evidence Chelsea actually have of this incident for an enquiry though because it appears the media havn't caught any, the 4 official and linesman arn't exactly going to go agaisnt Clattenburg so no evidence from them. Manchester United have said no player has heard anything, it looks as if its just word of mouth from Chelsea players.

Would be interesting to see what Chelsea used to support the complaint.

Also if the Fa decides Chelsea have made it up do Chelsea then get a punishment, i would actually hate to see a points deduction purely because it would ruin the run in for the title for whoever wins it a litte bit.

I agree with you Style, the defining factor is the honesty of the linesmen and the fourth official but seeing the already deep seated dislike of officiating Chelsea games amongst their colleagues even that can now be seen as tainted.

How hard would it be for CFC to get a receiver and tune in to the Refs mike. Record every game for future reference. Kid stuff.

Football today has grown beyond sport into a huge business these days! As a result ,refereeing decisons have a monumental impact on the finances of these businesses! Clattenberg was hailed as a quality performer as a referee, but made several howlers in the Chelsea v Man Utd, that created a result that potentially, could dictate a completely different set of placings in the PL table at the end of the season. It is understandable in the circumstances, that all associated with Chelsea-- , management, players and fans are less than happy with Mr Clattenberg--and rather than boycott Chelsea matches, referee's might actually meet to consider what lessons might be learned from that game to ensure such things never happen again (Like for example, should a club like MU be allowed to have an official like Clattenberg on their payroll?)

Wow, how moral of them. Imagine if we acted the same before the Terry verdict was reached!

Terry quit playing for England just before he was found guilty of using racist language. Perhaps he thought that the FA would backtrack at the last minute.

Out of interest, do you think Webb is on United's payroll?

Or are you just a sad, bitter tool who points the finger of blame at anyone other than Chelsea when you get beat?

Is he allowed to answer positive to both? Most of them would :)

  14. Well, I for one applaud the other refs for sticking by one of their own, especially only as a complete and utter idiot would believe that an experienced and well-respected ref would call a black player a "monkey."

Sorry, but it is far more believable that the player concerned has lied out of spite and sour grapes.

Can you really blame any ref not wanting to officiate at a Chelsea game, for fear that the same spite will turn on him, if he dares to make a key decision against you?

How much lower can the game be dragged than this?

HAIG--What Clattenberk did ,we all know about! What he said is another matter and the likes of us will never know for sure, but we can guess! For that reason we will all come up with different lines depending on who we support! What really made this a continuing journo's gravy train is the one thats most important i.e If Clatters is the man that is held up as a 5 star ref, how come he ballsed it up big time in the season's biggest fixture?

Your just jumping on the latest anti-Chelsea bandwagon.

Personally I think anyone who doesn't have an open mind until we have more proof one way or the other and an adjudged verdict is a "complete and utter idiot".
