Thought the ref last night had a good game and deserves some credit which ref's rarely get.

He let the game flow and got pretty much every call spot on.

Should have booke Nani in the first half for diving, but opted to just have a word even though half the manure squad were trying to argue otherwise.

Lovenkrands pen shout, probably more of a shout than Hernandez. More contact but not clattered so could have gone either way.

Hernandez's late dive, I still don't think there was any contact. The fact the little prick did a star jump over Simpson to me made it look more of a dive than any thing else.
Both were similar and at least the ref was consistant enough not to give either, rather than bottling it to the usual manure pressure.
Thoughrt Ronney was going to blow a gasket.
Ref was right to book Hernandez as well, if he thinks he's dived and there is no contact the player should be booked. So Fergy can shut up on that count as well, fancy bleeting about their pen shout and then not looking at ours. He made himself look and idiot.

The way I look at it if both pens were given and scored we'd have still got the same result, so a draw was probably about right.

So well done Lee Probert for a good game and having the bottled to stand up to Manure.
P.S. Your off Fergies Christmas Card list

I said exactly the same. He showed real bottle and credit to him for that. 2 games he has refereed us this season and both have been 0-0(Fulham).

I don't think Lovenkrands' shout was a penalty, that would have been soft, and Hernandez did what any player would have done in those circumstances. I thought Man Utd had bought a respectful, polite young lad, but clearly Fergie has given him an evil side. Still think he will be a star.

By the way, I know he didn't score, but Rooney impressed me. His cross field balls were fantastic and always looked a threat.

Credit to the ref, took some real bottle, had it been Webb, we would be talking about a 1-0 defeat right now.

I got asked by a Geordie Man Utd fan walking out after the game how much we payed the ref, I said I don't know but it was money well spent <laugh>

Seems the Lovenkrands penalty appeal was missed by the ref who was concerned about Shola being down injured.

What he's bitter cause we got an unbiased ref FFS that's what pisses me off with them, they think the ref owes them something every bloody game.

If both pens had been given it still would have ended 1-1 (most pens are scored, before some smart arse suggest the keeper could have saved it)

It was the look on Giggs face when things were given against him "what me Ref??? But I'm playing in the Red (wink, wink)"

On the replays AB the ref was looking straight at it when there was contact. People can not say anything about the ref cause he got to shouts pretty much identical and got the same outcome.

could of and should of booked Giggs for the pull back on Jonas
but saying that, Lovermans did exactly the same in the second half and he wasn't booked
thought Williamson's was a bit harsh, from my Angle he couldn't get out of the way
otherwise ok one of the better performances from the officials this season

Can't say much different to all the above. Referee had a good game. Only thing I noticed was that he booked Tiote and then didn't book Lovenkrands for exactly the same thing in a more advanced position?!?

He booked Tiote and Carrick for nothing fouls but yet when Lover and Giggs grabbed someones shirt and yanked them all the way round they didn't get booked. Odd.

But overall I think he deserves credit. Reffed consistently, and didn't give free kicks to nani ang jonas everytime they fell over.

I was a little frustrated in the second half at how quick he gave out a couple yellows to us without Tiote or Williamson fouling previously. That said, gutsy yellow to Javier, so all in all I'd shake his hand for a job well done.

I thought he had a really good game, didn't give them all the decisions as they'd usually get, did well with the penalties, should've booked Nani for diving but generally very good
