The Club has announced a drop in the price of season tickets for next season. http://www.swanseacity.net/news/article/season-ticket-price-drop-2116702.aspx
Without wishing to be too critical, ten pounds is neither here nor there over a season, but it's certainly better than a price hike.
That's the way to look at it . More expensive players and contracts must have put added pressure on our income and it may only be a small part of it but ticketing still has an impact on our income streams. Spend the saving on joining the Trust

All our thanks to Dai for lobbying the club on our behalf. Well done Dai. It's good to see that they listened to your concerns. What will you all spend your £10 on? A pie and a pint? Or are they going up in price to compensate for lower ticket prices?
Ten pounds is just about enough for a pie and a pint at some club grounds,a big rip off,£4.40 for beer in a plastic cup and a pie at a similar price. The wise one's go to the nearest Wetherspoons, where beer is half that price, although away fans are banned at the one next to Arsenal's ground. Some are even wiser and do not drink at all!
Its £10 plus any price rise that could have been added. It's not a great deal but better than nothing and those of us that care will continue to lobby the club for a farer deal for fans...
You do know that ticket prices at the Liberty are amongst the lowest in the Premier League girls? Just be grateful you have a season ticket............
Football in general in this country is no longer value for money any more and that is what me and many other fans from all around the country are working hard at every opportunity to get clubs from ripping fans off...
It's value for money for some people. Depends how much money you have and how you define value for money. Those that think it's not good value usually mean they can't afford it or struggle to afford it. This is generally true of all things. "It's too expensive" mostly means "I can't afford it". Millions go to football matches every week, so obviously they can afford it. They must think it's value for money to some extent, otherwise they'd spend that money on things that offered better value. Their choice.
A lot of fans go to matches when they clearly cant afford it. It is one of the many things that cause families to break up and put families into debt. For 90 minutes of watching football a dad and his son or whoever has to spend more than a days wages for the average fan. Its a rip off while they pay players and themselves obscene amounts of money. Its a fact that attendances are falling and clubs need to be shamed into doing something about it. Football is for everyone and not just for the rich and the stupid who puts football before their family....
That says more about those fans. You have to be really stupid to put yourself into debt and break up your family over football. But all it means is that those fans can't afford it. Any idiot can spend money he doesn't have.
So my season ticket for 2015 will now be £419 (if purchased in December - which I will do). As far as I'm concerned that is a fantastic deal; £22 per game in my favourite seat at the Liberty! For the enjoyment I get then it is worth the money and, in real terms taking inflation into account, am paying less than I did back in the first season at the Liberty. This is entertainment remember; what top class stadium rock band could you watch for £22? A mate of mine has just payed £89 for a ticket to watch Fleetwood Mac, who will be playing for about the same amount of time as a footie match lasts, and that isn't even the best ticket! Dai, I contest your opinion that football is no longer value for money - compare it to other 'stadium' entertainment events and it comes off quite favourably - for example; when the Kings of Leon played at the Liberty the cheapest ticket was £45, the most expensive well over £100 and to be honest I would rather watch the Swans play the Landore Ladies!! Football is constantly being berated for ripping off the 'loyal fans' when other 'entertainment events' can charge what they like without a hint of criticism! The bottom line is that if you don't like it, you don't have to pay it - I do like it and I will continue to pay it!
good value if one can get a season ticket. this Swans trust, I paid 10 quid, can someone tell me what is is/does, I have heard nothing bar receiving a receipt. aha just tried to get info sent to me via email and it seems my account has been suspended for some reason, typical.
you dont watch fleetwood mac every other week though you only watch home games and you have to pay for all other games and you dont take into account the cost of going to the match or if you have family to take....Its well over priced and a big rip off when you break it down to the REAL cost....watching a band is a poor example to use....
