So I was looking at the LFc website and came across the following.

Liverpool Reserves kick-off their two game tour of Ireland with a match at Bray Wanderers tonight.

The game will be played at the Carlisle Grounds in Bray, Co. Wicklow, at 7.45pm.

Tickets for the match are priced at 20 euros for adults and 10 euros for OAPs and schoolchildren.

First i was UTTTERLY shocked to see the price being charged for an LFC reserve side game and can only surmise that either Bray wanderers are a top side OR you are getting ripped off.

second is anyone going to the game and if so wh oare you hoping to see play for us?

I suspect that Bray Wanderers are charging the prices because they are playing at home and I would also suspect that they need the money. Think about it, Liverpool are coming to play and that should draw in a decent crowd so Bray can gain some decent revenue.

20 euros is a bit steep but then prices for everything over there are scandalous. (apart from houses :emoticon-0100-smile).

20 of those euros to wtach our reserve side?

Ok so maybe downing or henderson or doni might turn up but maybe not as well. a few guys didn't go on tour due to injury etc.

BUT the reserves last year were kids. other than say suso... would you pay that much for a reserve outing?

when the reserves drew 4-4 last weekend this was the team: Stephens, Mendy, Hajdu, Sama, McGiveron, Adorjan (Ngoo), Amoo (Silva), Roberts, El Zhar (Roddan), Eccleston (Emilsson), Suso.

in other words everyone in the minds of the manager this season went on tour... everyone in u20 action is going this week, u19s and u18s, u21s all just back from tournaments and at rest....

Not going cos I'll only be out of work at 6pm and it's a bit of a pain to get to Bray for me even though I'm on the southside of Dublin.

€20 is a bit steep, but as a previous poster said, everything over here is a rip off!

You should have seen the posters. They had Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez on them.As if they were going to be playing?
Liverpool reserves are playing in Limerick on wednesday.Hopefully they get out of ''Stab City'' alive.
Last nights match was more to do with the announcement that Steve Staunton is going to be a LFC employee. Its also and this has been reported in the Irish press that Liverpool are tying up a deal with an Irish junior club for youngsters.I've a feeling that Pat Devlin is returning as Liverpools Irish scout a role he filled in the 1980s and under Kenny at Blackburn in the 1990s.Thats how Blackburn got Damien Duff.
