So this is basically Redknapp asking the FA to approach him in the summer then. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16008747.stm Question is, will he make a good England manager? I think he will. It's a good time to be taking over the England team too, with a new crop coming through.
He really knows what he's talking about... Kevin Keegan: 1999-2000 P18 W7 D7 L4 Howard Wilkinson: 2000 P1 D1 Peter Taylor: 2000 P1 L1 Sven-Goran Eriksson: 2001-06 P67 W40 D17 L10 Fabio Capello: 2008-11 P37 W24 D7 L6 ...Steve McClown 2006 - 7 ...Wilkinson and Keegan are also the wrong way round...well done beeb reporter!
So because I'm a Spurs fan I'm deluded? Remind me how many points behind us are you? How many home games have you played at home this season compared to us? How many games have you played this season compared to us? Who is the deluded one? Poor little goonie you will be crying yourself to sleep come May.
There's only one deluded lot at the moment - and it's not us Spurs fans!! You're nothing but a shadow of the team you were, we've stuffed you once - we'll do it again
I think Harry would be a good England manager, I have always liked him, I love his personality, shame he is at a club full of scum. Banter aside, I think Harry is a cracking manager, from the day he bought Dumitrescu and Răducioiu at West Ham, I gave him props, I knew he knew football, he didn't buy English for the sake of it.
Agreed We've been saying for nearly a decade now that we want an English Manager - and I think Redknapp has a good rapport with the players he has worked with. It worries me a bit that he sometimes seems to ostracise some players though, Defoe (whilst playing now) has sat on the sidelines unneccessarily for a large part of his Spurs Career. Niko Krancjar - who Redknapp bought twice, seems to be kept totally out in the cold.
