You don't build a squad of 25 players who should be in the first team, because that causes all manner of hassle as 14 of them won't be starting a game every week, as well as one player getting more games as a similar player in that position over the space of a season. For that reason, you need a first team, good cover for the keeper, as well as up front and at centre back, and after that you just need players who can do a job for a few games and not complain about being far down the pecking order because they know it's their job to steady the ship for a few games, or even a few minutes. That's what youth team players are used for - or would be, if Harry didn't loan them out en masse in the foolish belief that our first team squad wouldn't be knackered come March/April for a second season in a row.
Some of the players you've put forward have been for sale over 2 years, and no-ones interested (have a little think why that might be perhaps) yet you think putting them in PL games is a good idea, the rest of the division doesn't...but you do...ok!

Bassong? Rose? Townsend? None of them have been "on sale for over two years"

As for saying were rested for European football - a line Harry tried in the last week - the Europa League campaign was six months ago. In other words, Harry's attempts to deflect the truth of Corluka's observations underlined how right he was - barring a couple of FA Cup games, we haven't rotated the squad for
six months.

Today is the case in point: Benny has been knackered for weeks and his performances affected by it, but Danny Rose only gets a start not to give him a rest, but because he's out with a shoulder injury. Any halfway competent manager would have addressed this by now, but Harry hasn't - and you've been spouting off about "weak players" as a reason he's right to do so.

and welcome! Today's world is expert on hype, high on style and low on substance. This current side is POTENTIALLY the best but we are yet to see it. Even when we were on form earlier this season I still don't think we played to the limit that is possible with this side. In fact the early success could well be why we are underachieving now.
