I fail to see how a body like the FA can castigate a player for Racial abuse when he has not been proven guilty by any court, and then think about hiring a person that has just avoided criminal conviction. What the hell are they thinking? Reading between the lines, I'm not even sure the FA can afford Redknapp's perceived lifestyle. If he is not shown to be successful as England manager, he can always retire to Monaco (or wherever). I saw on the BBC web page it was said..... "if it were a matter of Harry Jones or Harry Smith, this would never have come to court". I am an old pessimist and believe that it should have read...."if it were a Harry Jones or Harry Smith, they would have been found guilty"!! GOD HELP ENGLAND
