Shock horror, and how the fcuk is Scotland a big job, behave a,, Redknapp Does Not Want Scotland Job Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has revealed that he doesnât want the âbig jobâ of Scotland manager but has tipped Joe Jordan. Jordan was Redknappâs assistant and first team manager at Tottenham and the pair made their exits at the same time in summer. Redknapp insists that he would âput his life onâ Jordan and believes he would do a good job in the role. Asked if he would like into move international management with Scotland, Redknapp told BBC sport: "No, not really." "There's enough good Scots lads about to take the job, I wouldn't really be in the running for that job. It's a big job, a great job for somebody and Joe knows it. He knows the game. He's a very solid guy, he's a fantastic guy. "He's nothing like the Joe Jordan that you knew as a player - a real fearsome character on the pitch. Joe's a quiet family man, really dedicated. You could put your life on Joe. "When I worked with him at Tottenham and Portsmouth, he was always the first one at the training ground every morning and absolutely dedicated to his job." Redknapp also believes that Gordon Strachan would make a good candidate.
I think Strachan is wanted by Saints, possibly even being in for our game if they get turned over by Swansea. Thats leaves HR for us although Id prefer Benitez.
Can't blame him - I don't want the Scotland job either. They looked like they were moving forward a few years ago but seem to have regressed.
