If he has been banned without the membership having been informed and given the reason(s) then I think we've wandered into extremely dangerous territory here. I saw the thread and I saw the problem and it was closed down. Fair enough. But has there been a ban and why so? If Nines is operating under pressure from one or two complainants then I think he should come clean and stop carrying the can and allowing these people to have him falsely portrayed as some sort of power-crazed Dictator. I called such a scenario before "The tail wagging the dog" but its more serious than that. If Nines is actually banning people on behalf of complaints from a couple of people (lets say 2% of the membership) then there's no other way to describe this Board than fascistic in nature. And for Nines to be taking the blame on behalf of these anonymous quislings makes it all the more galling because they're taking advantage of his chivalrous nature. I'm being serious here, the man is a legend and I don't like directing my fire at him when I believe the real culprit to be someone(s) else. What we have here is analogous to a player throwing himself down in the penalty area (Ashley Young) because there was minimal "contact" with another player. Its simulation and cheating and has a huge impact on the outcome of the game. The referee (Nines), although only implementing the rules he's been given, then penalises the wrong person / people: Queens (Shaun Derry) and not606 membership (QPR). Its time for a change. Can't we be the first not606 Board to be openly and transparently run by the members? Lets have the names of the people who've complained about other posters and have consequently had discussions closed down against the wishes of the vast majority of members. It would stop the theatrics (diving) in one fell swoop.
Sadly, we're still in that chapter of QPR's history where we have wasters on high wages. Granted, we're in a better place than a couple of seasons ago. But I look forward to the day when everyone at QPR is serious about playing and performing.
