What do you think? http://simonaustinsport.blogspot.co.uk/2016/11/formative-years-i-grew-up-in-birkenshaw.html?m=1
Some sour grapes, some bollox but some very good insight into a chaotic existence and a waste of talent as Redders and Lucy should have still been there. cellino fooked up by trying to destroy our conveyor belt because he didnt see the big pucture or the big business case for looking after the academy. I just hope he has learned his lesson and carries on leaving Monk to look after the kids development and first team matters
I think Cellino saw something in Redders that didn't fit with the future ... a youth team coach who thought he was good enough to manage at international level ... Redders left because HE made his own position untenable, Ward became collateral damage because of Redders being foolish and bombastic ... Redders decided he was a manager, and turned down a return to the Academy, so he turned his back on his so-called "kids" and decided his time at Leeds was done he proved hs quality as a manager at Rotherham, and finished his chances of doing that role again ... now he will do a Curbishley by not taking coaching roles as he applies for every manager job going for the next ten years ... Curbishley, if you remember, only applies for manager jobs in the Prem "because I am a Prem manager and will never manage a lower division club" ... seven years of failed applications and he still hasn't smelt the coffee fcuk Redders, he decided he was better than Academy coach at Leeds, and I can understand Cellino's angry response, although the Italian should have handled it better Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
