I am not certain, but as I was walking away from the game yesterday, I can ' t remember seeing a red Cardiff City top. I have a feeling that after watching the 19.27 scarf protest, by hook or by crook the shirts will be blue next season, and the away kit red as yesterday. This away kit lark, all about money accepted, is a bit of a shame really. I used to enjoy watching teams playing in their famous colours like Blackpool, and Norwich. Stoke yesterday could have been anybody....and those socks on Crouch...what's that all about?
Crouch wasn't wearing socks - those rings were the spacers on his stilts. If (when) we go down, perhaps red will become regarded as an "unlucky" colour by our master - either that, or it was because Marshall failed to score all season. Can't see our master backing down and reverting to blue though - that would be a far too sensible thing to do, and he'd probably blame it if we didn't bounce straight back.
Bit nippy today Sparkey, got your liberty bodice on mate? It was only after the game, that I realised I didn't see a red shirt, am I missing something or is there an unwritten law that they are not to be worn, by the bully boys? Personally I never wear a football shirt, not my thing!
I agree with oldsparkey. Tan won't change the colour. That would involve losing face and Asians don't do that. By the way that's not racist, it's a cultural fact. I have Asian friends and have travelled a bit over there - including Malaysia. Lovely people too.
I live in Thailand and it"s real but so is corruption, double dealing, blackmail and revenge in equal measure...
Taff, any sign of a red City shirt out there? Doubt it. My thought is, that if nobody is wearing it to a game, then nobody will buy it here, so no funds.
Sawadee krab Dragon and Masky, plenty of red shirts here in Bangkok along with the yellow shirts. I think I am the only one with a blue shirt! It's okay I can hold my own until reinforcements arrive
There is a rumour (and that's all it is as far as I know) that he may be willing to back down. If e does, he'll go rocketing in my estimation.
Could he go from zero to hero in one fell swoop? It would show, at last, some sense of the depth of feeling amongst most fans.
