This discussion crops up periodically, whether we should play it or not. Yesterday it was perfect for the occasion IMO. I love it, it's about recovering from adversity, which Charlton are doing, and when it came booming out at the end .....absolute bliss. Usually most fans ignore it and sing over the top of it, but yesterday many of those round about me joined in. Superb.

I'm doing some gardening at my old mum's house (every now and then) and most times when I dig a patch of soil a red red robin comes bob-bob-bobbin' along to snack on the tasty grubs my digging has unearthed. Who cares what they think of gardeners? It's part of our tradition. Should we lose it I will strike down upon someone with great fury and anger. When the red red robin….
Robins are my greatest friends. They are true survivors and the most loyal of all our birds. Once they know you will feed them, they will sing to you and for you forever more.
