David Luiz ; given yellow but definitely a red
    Shelvey; Yes a red
Evans; nothing should have been red.
Van Persie; yellow but should have been red.
Little and Barnett (Peterboro); Not yellows but reds

    Suarez; penalty? Yes
    Valencia; penalty? Yes

And I've already lost count of the bad decisions at both ends of the pitch in City matches this season.

Players have improved their performances and fitness significantly over the years since I started watching League football.
But the men in black or pink or sky blue or every other colour are still in many cases behaving like Neanderthal man!
What needs to be done to improve their fitness, eyesight and consistency of decision making?

Well I think it will always be a problem, because despite the benefit of being able to see the incidents you list above on several occasions I disagree with at least 4 of your assessments. That is just my opinion. there will never be complete agreement in these issues!

'it will always be a problem' - I agree as we all 'see' situations differently.

You might not agree, I didn't when I was first told 40 years ago, but Referees decide at least 50% of all matches.
Go back as far as 1966 until the clown at Peterborough the other day- Refs decide football matches.
I don't believe they cheat and they do their best, but unfortunately they don't get enough 'right'.
