Comic Relief Defends Its Policy As BBC Panorama Reveals It Invested In Arms Trade. I know for a fact that Lenny Henry led a ruthless team of mercenaries into Chad in 2007 in an attempt to overthrow the government and install Freddie "Parrot-Face" Davies as a puppet dictator. They only failed because Bob Carolgees and Spit the Dog got cold feet and alerted the authorities at the last minute.
It's quite a good business plan to be fair. ****s give them money, they invest in arms, 3rd world kids get killed, mutilated and orphaned, ****s get put on a guilt trip by Lenny and co and ****s give more money. So the cycle continues. They should float on the stock exchange.
Not just weapons but tobacco and alcohol as well. Plus of course there was Terry's salary which was kept under wraps for long enough.
The BBC charge you £1 if you send a text to them, with 70p of this money going to Comic Relief. We must assume the other 30p goes to expenses. Someone has to pay for the wealthy celebrities to travel around the world filming starving kids
