Was it a red card for Nani?

I don't think so, at least a yellow.

Oh sorry should this be 'O/T' according to 1950's special rules?

Not a red, yellow for dangerous!

Talking of bad referees, we've got bloody calamityberg this week! Hope he's better than he was at Wet Sham!

Not much sympathy; red card? No. Yellow? Definitely! Were Real on top after utds goal? Yes. Is this the first important and negative decision against capt miserable and the plastics at old trafford this season? Almost definitely. This century? Probably. Ever? May be pushing it!

I have no sympathy for UTD when it comes to referee decisions.... but it was never a red. Why Nani decided to roll round like he'd been shot is beyond me though

Nani couldn't even see Arbeloa running in there was no intent a yellow would of been harsh. This referee has sent off quite a lot players for English teams there seems to be a bit of a theme here.

Roy Keane's comments after the game were weird is there any reason to be that aggressive too?

The referee simply followed the letter of the law which resulted in a correct Red Card. Very brave of the referee but a correct decision none the less <ok>

Makes a change to have a ref at Old Trafford with some balls.

Red or yellow ? Refs call ,but at least he didn't bottle it like
    our Prem refs do.

Fergie was to upset to face the media.FFS

However bad the ref was, Ferdinand's behaviour at the end was disgraceful. If ever there was a small chance he'd get a recall to the England squad, that should hopefully be at an end now!

Not a red? Nani could have killed Arbeloa!

The more unjust the result is perceived to be - the better, take your medicine like a man <ok>

Royston Keane agreed it should have been a red.
So obviously only a yellow was the correct call.

That annoyed me, yet the ref completely ignored it. The ref could have easily given him a booking for that.
