I'm actually going there on Saturday to watch them v Charlton (a mate of mine who is a Charlton fan is staying with us and wanted to go). It's on Sky so look out for me! I'll be the one completely relaxed, enjoying watching 2 teams I don't support or really care about trying to play football!!
I just can't understand why Tim Sherwood, who is clearly a driven and ambitious bloke who has done a decent job in the Premiership, would choose to go to somewhere like Swindon who are a struggling 3rd Division side. Unless they are about to get a shed load of investment or something ?
He's best mates with Power. He has agreed to get involved and assist with the running of the club without an actual contract. Its a favour for a friend.
There is numerous things to consider .. how many £m from AV ... AFTER possibly FA cup final bonus money? contract termination as well so not short of a few bob .... obviously as odds on to go to QPR SMACK IN THE FACE FOR THEM!
Very enjoyable game today. Swindon played well and Charlton were ****e. But the best thing was - I didn't care! I was entertained stress free. One of the most relaxing games I have seen! My Charlton mate was not happy though.....
I watched it on Sky. Quite an entertaining game, and Swindle actually played some nice football at times.
