Southampton away should show you that you most definitely won't.

 

I think it's more about how we set out than the opposition and i think we have a decade of positive development ahead before we'll go on that type of winning streak. Law of averages suggests we're now due a draw or defeat. This side has a long way to go, but I would fancy us to win more than we lose over the rest of the season. Do you know what the longest unbeaten run is Warky? That may be a more realistic target...

 

Nice idea but honestly am more interested in us getting consistancy and playing decent football. Im not expecting us to lurch from the worst side in the league to the best every 5 games. If it happens then great but with the likes of Southampton, Hull and Burnley it doesnt look an easy run. We have won 4 with two lucky decisions going our way (pompey goal and ALB not getting sent off) so its hardly been plain sailing but we have played good football and it should be a base to build from.

i expect that you've all already noticed this but your current 4 game winning run features the same teams that you beat on your only other winning run earlier in the season. coincidence?

strange isn't it. especially when you consider that coventry aside, they are all hard games. you seem to have had worse results against the weaker teams
