Although I´ve not seen the goals yet
They´re beauties, I´m prepared to bet,
For any that go in
In an away win
Are as special as any we´ll get

And what a great feeling it is
To prove that we can do the biz,
And well done PL
To change personel
It just gave us that extra fizz

I was glad to see Fox back again
His passing stands up to the strain,
And Martin R. too
Did more than come through
In a role he´s not used to, this game

But how the new boys have come on
Bennett and Pilks and Johnson,
Have taken to the dish
Like the proverbial fish
To water, they´re standing up strong

And Morison, who lead the line
Today, was a pain all the time,
For Bolton, who found
Him difficult to ground
I´d say that they´re all looking fine

And finally, before I go
A word on our record breaking show,
Five pens in five games
And although it pains
Most were non-starters, we know

So when we can cut those out too
Who knows just how well we might do,
But today was where
We showed that we´re here
A great day for PL and the crew. OTBC

Enjoy your week all,

Yours,

As any publicity is good publicity, does that hold true with records? You'll enjoy Johnson's goal, RBF, perfect header! Pilks' was more a la Jimmy Greaves, a goal-hangers goal, but they all count.

I' m celebrating a correct score on all 3 CPL's that I entered, so I'm a happy, slightly tipsy, bunny tonight <cheers>

Morning dave, having seen a replay of the match late last night, I thought we played really well, two good goals, a lot of good play, fantastic work-rate, and for once we were just as smart as they were. <ok> God knows what `Yorkie´s on about, sour grapes as usual sounds like.
