The worst consecutive run of defeats since football was founded by Sky circa 1992, plus the loss at Burton. Five away goals all season. Congratulations to all responsible. I shall be out celebrating this rare achievement this evening.
I've commissioned a special plaque for Redknapp's trophy cabinet. The "It's difficult but I did it my way" award.
Hardly surprising seeing as your away support is so poor. The other Premiership club that had a similar away record in recent years was Fulham. Spot the coincidence
Predictable again. We've been terrible away for years, almost all of the 20 seasons I've been going. Whether it's a few hundred at Port Vale or 5000 midweek at Barnsley. It's the tactics and personnel, not the fans or Leeds would never lose away. Wigan weren't bad away from memory and they took far fewer to most games than Fulham.
BBC Sport suggest otherwise... QPR have some way to go to match Liverpool's record of 20 successive top-flight away defeats between 7 March 1953 and 16 January 1954. Then again football as we know it wasn't invented until 1992.....
Another record today I believe, the quickest yellow card ever Traore when he came on for that pointless attempted tackle.
We are on 11 as we lost to Liverpool away last game of 2012-13. Thank God for the scintillating 0-0 draw with Reading before that.....
Since we returned to the Prem in 2011/12 season we have now played 48 away games and have these marvelous statistics: P48 W5 D7 L36 F40 A95 So from a possible 144 points we have taken the princely amount off 22....... Rubbish isn't it.........
Many congratulations to the highly paid players, ubiquitous number of coaches and all involved. To lose 10 away on the spin from the start of the season is an incredible effort. Without 900 minutes of concentration, we could have slipped up and got a single point by accident. We now hold the record for the Premier League which we all know but it's also the worst away start in the top flight for 50 years. Absolutely incredible. Seriously, my heart goes out to the guys who travel away to watch this. I'm a season ticket holder but rarely travel away these days. I was absolutely raving listening to parts of it on London Radio and am therefore somewhat removed from the carnage. I can't imagine how people must be feeling who travel to watch this farce very other week or so. As soon as I saw it was 1 up front again and heard Burnley all over us from the start it was clear what was going to be the end result. So deflated and Mr Fosters is not helping, as I'm sure you can tell.
I don't get the commiserations to fans who travel to away games. They make the choice. Nobody's forcing them. I think we've got great fans and long may the travelling support continue but if they don't like watching the team away, just go to the home games!
at least we will have a record for a **** season what are your lot likely to get out of your short stay in the prem
