I've just reread this and it reads a bit demanding. It's not meant to be really. I've got the usual stuff like navigator, Kindle, TV, Star maps and the football league App, anyone got any others worth having? If it's games, I prefer thinking ones to platform and fast finger types.
TuneIn radio lets you recieve Burnsy and the gang even if you're out of the area. I don't have a digital radio in my car so if I'm at an away game I'll hook my phone up to the car radio through the aux jack and bang! Digital radio. That said I've only ever been to two away games in my own car I think so I don't use it very often One I quite like is simply called BBC+Sky sports and it basically compiles a load of info from both of those sources which you can check pretty quickly compared to opening your browser and navigating manually. If you want to say, check the league table then it's the quickest way I know of doing it but the best thing about it checking live scores, very handy. One final one I'd reccomend is called Google Reader, it's just an RSS reader (there are loads of different ones, it doesn't matter if you use Google's or another) and I set it to subscribe to an RSS feed of the City page on Sky Sports website (but again, you could use any other feed such as newsnow if they do one). Basically it just means I have headlines regarding City synced to my phone all the time. I don't use it much I guess because I get most of my City news from this very site, but when I don't have my laptop with me it can be pretty handy.

Excellent suggestions so far, especially the radio. Keep 'em coming. As for books, I'm a proper book worm me, hence the kindle on the phone synced with my main kindle, so fire away with any book suggestions. My reading tastes are very wide.
Flixster for film reviews and cinema listings. Endomondo if you do any running. "Flashlight" is good, especially if you have a light for the camera on your phone. Puzzle Games: Unblock Me, Super sudoku.
i installed Paper camera today , the effects are really good and are LIVE . there is a very slight delay so it works best on still life the effects are really quite good for such an app.
For Android try games like Tiny Tower or Draw Something. For other apps then ESPN Goals allows you to see Premier League goals about 20 mins after they are scored. Battery Indicator - allows you to see what % of your battery is left and how it has been used up Color Note - simply post it notes that you can save to your task bar Fat booth / Zombie Booth - IMDB My Fitness Pal - can track what you eat on the go Out of Milk - basically a shopping list. Add things as you remember them and when you go shopping it's all there Sound hound - use app to locate a piece of music you don't know the words of Temple run - another game
