Not good enough so far. We have got to improve. I think our problem at the moment is that we're allowing teams too much time in MF and inviting pressure on ourselves. That is putting our defence under pressure and we're conceding goals when the ball should never be anywhere near our penalty area. We need to be pressing teams from the front and not allowing them the time to build a head of steam. We are badly missing a MF enforcer like Diaby at the moment. Hopefully, with Wilshere back, it will sure up the MF a bit more.
Agreed PISKIE we've got used to sitting back too much and inviting pressure when in the past we would defend by attacking But also at the moment the team is riddled with defensive errors that allow teams back in it
Every team goes through a rough patch. This is ours now. Stop whingeing and think of the bigger picture, constant pessimism can be bad for your health.
Lol, we have been going through a rough patch for a few months now, we ended last season on a bad patch as those home results have shown, and we haven't improved much. Anyways, it's become really depressing to watch Arsenal at home.
If what !!!?............. Ill give you an IF . IF we hadnt shipped 3 goals we would have won 3 nil . Winning 2-0 ( again ) and then shipping 3 goals, at home , and you talk about if we hadnt missed a penalty . Talk about ignoring the elephant in the room . and im not a pessimist but i aint fuckin blind either.
the Arsenal boss said. "The positives are that we can score goals now. The negatives are to concede three goals at home of course, and the chances we gave away, defensively it wasn't an historical performance." no fuckin sh1t ! I can see why they pay you so much .
I said before the game our home form hasn't been good at all so people shouldn't be looking to this fixture or any home fixture for that matter, as a sure thing to get back to form. Emirates is no fortress sadly.
