Recent Bannings/Requests

As with other recent bannings we're supposed to have a closed sticky for them so bringing things up to date:

Angel-N has been banned for repeatedly posting another user's real name on the boards. This was after it had been said several times on the thread that it wasn't right to post them, and a PM being sent to all concerned by a moderator.

We've also requested bans for Smug and Phallus (which may or may not be in place yet). Both users have posted with a stated intention of disrupting the forum. Smugs ban is for reasons including actions around the time of the last game between us and Sunderland. Phallus getting more than a short term ban may seem harsh as it was just one night after he failed to spot the difference between the merging and deleting of a thread, however in both cases the bans reflect the fact that afterwards posts have been made elsewhere on the site making false accusations about us abusing our positions as moderators, even after we've clarified our actions. Some of the accusations on Smugs side were of things that we don't even have the ability to do.

 

Smugs and Phallus bans are now in place.
