Nothing wrong with Suarez's goal either and hit the woodwork twice Fulham had their chances but also they should have Senderos sent off and Dempsey. Also when Suarez was pulled to the ground in the penalty are that should have been a pen right there! And was the Senderos on Adam challenge really outside of the area? But anyway who will replace Spearing?
I'm actually quite relieved that I won't have to watch Spearing at Anfield on Saturday. Saying that I'd rather watch him than Poulsen
And dont write Spearing off yet mate, he played well for us back end of the season + against Chelsea in the C Cup
I reckon it'll be: ------Henderson----Adam----Downing---------- ------Kuyt-------Carroll-------Suarez----------- Adam will act as the DM, which is a bit worrying considering some of his flying challenges - but hopefully with his attacking nature we'll get a much more forward game. I can see Shelvey on the bench getting some game time, but a DM is often a priority in the premier league - they've become a big part of the game. However, we could do a switch over and use Hendo and Adam as 2 all round CMs, and let them both do the defensive and attacking side of things.
Not writing him off, just think we have better options to play there at the moment, especially at home, where I don't think we should be playing with a holding midfielder.
What about playing Agger there? He can definitely play a bit and you seem to have quite a few centre-halves available at the moment.

Plenty of teams play with 12 men against us Personally I'd give one of the kids a chance for a week or two, Coady or Suso possibly...Gerrard will be back in soon (hopefully) so my team would be: Kelly/Johnson...Skrts...Agger....Enricky ........Adam....Coady/Suso........... Kuyt...................................Maxi .........Suarez...Bellamy.......
