1) Looks like the worst of the injury crisis is over and Morgan will be back next game and we have a transfer window to get in extra bodies (if required). 2) The last 2 performances has seen us get back close to our best form. 3) We have already played 6 out of the top 8 away from home, with only Spuds and Citeh away to come. Please add any more reasons for optimism that you can think of.
How about before the end of February we play all of the bottom three as well as West Brom, Stoke and Hull. Lots of points up for grabs.
We are halfway through the season on 27 points. If you double that we would have 54, which last season would have put us in 8th position. Given the run of games we have just come through, and the injuries we have had, I would bet we will get more than 54 points.
The old Saints fan in me says we are only 4 wins and a draw from safety. The new Saints fan in me says we are 12 wins from Europe....
Our finances appear (knock on wood) to be in excellent shape. We're investing in infrastructure like the training facility. We have an emphasis on producing academy players which is smart, and also it's working like gangbusters. Our squad is young and improving, and it's a likeable set of players that are fun to root for. Our chairman and owners seem to want to win. Cortese still scares me, but I have to say he hasn't put a foot wrong since he's been here. We appear to be, as far as I can tell, a phenomenally run organization. As long as that's the case, it doesn't bother me even if we finish 17th, which I highly doubt we will. We're on the right track and we'll eventually get where we need to be. How can you look at the big picture for this club and not be extremely happy how things are going?

There is currently a sale on at dfs. Had better rush, it won't be on for long. Footballing wise in 3 days time we are at home in the premier league to Chelsea, yes Chelsea, former champions of Europe and biggest clubs in the world and you know what - we could beat them. As much as I like our fixture list for Feb, just where we are right now is reason to be cheerful
I'd be cheerful if I lived near the Constantinople of Hampshire that is Portsmouth too. You lucky, lucky people.
What is all the positivity? Where did all the Saints fans go? To add it to, I'm not planning on going to any Saints games for the foreseeable future which means there is a chance Saints might actually win at home without me there to jinx it!
