Reasons To Be Cheerful/Fulham Away...

    Just a few quick words if I may.

    I proposed to my girlfriend over Christmas and we're now engaged which I'm feeling pretty damn good about, this in itself has made Christmas and new year a real treat. The fun doesn't stop there though. Due to feeling guilty after I selflessly spent so much money on a ring for her, she let us buy a new LED Smart TV which I now love more than her. It's amazing, the picture is so good I could see the cocaine round Andy Carroll's nostrils the other night, it's easy on the eye and it doesn't keep asking me to do **** like get it a drink or run it a ****ing bath.

    Another great thing is that I'm all booked up for the Fulham game, Travelodge and all, on the 21st of this month. There's about eight of us heading down for the game plus a few of our mates from down south are joining us afterwards for a good ol' cockerney piss up. The lads have took it upon themselves to celebrate my engagement which will most definitely result in me either falling asleep standing up (which happened in Cork for my mate's stag last summer), falling asleep on a huge bass bin (which happened on my other mate's stag do in Leeds last spring) or being sick and falling asleep in a toilet (which hasn't happened for about two years now). Either way it'll be great and I expect nothing less than three points from Craven Cottage.

    My question to you lot is, who's going? Do you fancy our chances? Does anyone else intend to take advantage of the fact that it's a London game and get the train and stay overnight? Should be a great weekend either way, I've already booked Monday 23rd off work cos it's gonna get naughty.

    That all sounds very fun but unfortunatley I can't see us getting all 3 points...

    Fulham have looked great when I've watched them recently and I reckon there hitting form just now. I'd say a point would be a good result.
    Dembele looks class btw.

    Just make sure that when you divorce the future wife, you don't end up giving it to her! Sounds like a cracking TV!

    Not sure about the 3 points myself. Hoping for a draw to be honest!

    Congrats on the engagement! (And the TV)

    I'm going down, booked some tickets two seats from our "official" allocation in the neutral section. My girlfriend's grandparents have got a swanky pad in Richmond; couldn't really say no to a free weekend out in the smoke!

    Going to try and get into some of the local pubs fairly early, they were packed about two and a half hours before kick off last season.

    Good good, I'm looking forward to it, we're staying at the Travelodge near Liverpool St station so we'll be out round the local Fulham pubs before the game then out for the night round Shoreditch afterwards.
