    1) We've got money to spend.
    2) Taarabt is coming into form by the looks of things
    3) We've still got half the season to go.

    You Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs!!!

At least Adel seems a different player without Barton on the pitch. SWP was fantastic. Despite everything there's reason to be positive.

    Blackburn and Wolves lose too.

It is starting to look a little grim on the pitch, even if things are still positive off it. Even if Barton was provoked / unlucky/ etc he was an imbecile to get involved.

Guys, it is the first match of an effectively new shortened season for us. We will pick up points and had JB not got sent off I think we would have won today. Try and remain positive eh?

Indeed, Warnock should know that will piss Adel off which is the last thing we need right now. Can't understand it, wtf is DJ going to do, ffs.

Would we have lost today 11 v 11? Most sane supporters knew it was going to be a hard slog and finishing 17th would be seen as successful. Now here we are in 17th and seemingly we're ****ed. We have a chance to strengthen in the next week or so while other teams look like they'll be selling. We have some wins in us still.
I WOULD love to find the thread when we were 8th or 9th and some here were talking about Europe.
Oh and Tarbs IS in good form but will be away for the African nations cup now so we can only hope he returns in similar form.

At this rate its down to us wolves blackurn bolton and wigan. We'll only stay up due to three of the others being worse than us.

    Please explain why -

    1. Hulse on bench?
    2. 4-5-1 again at home?? Surely 4-4-2 with Macheda & HH starting?
    3. Traore??
    4. Campbell on for Tararararararbat?

    I don't know. I really don't.

The pessimist in me is looking at our last six games and thinking we're ****ed if we don't go on a decent unbeaten run.

DJ, Bothroyd, Hulse and Macheda... Is there a worse selection of strikers possible? F*ck, I'm losing hope.

Taarabt's substitution was the worst possible move Warnock could make. Insane.
