One programme for the Hull match included a Willy Wonka style âGolden Ticketâ, which entitled the winner to go backstage at a game and win a match-worn shirt from one of the players. But the club were inundated with âprize winnersâ after they printed a picture to illustrate what the golden ticket looked like in the programme. The blunder confused thousands of Toon fans and lead them to think they had all won. Programme editor Anthony Marshall tweeted in a bid to clear up the confusion. He said: âApologies to anyone confused by Golden Ticket page in todayâs programme. The 1 printed was an example.
