    Rearranged games already.

Still a long way to go but the usual fixture changing concerning our games for TV has started already.

ESPN have announced their first set of televised Premier League fixtures for the coming season and Newcastle's opening two games have been moved as follows:

    Sat 18.08.2012 Spurs (h) @ 5.30pm
    Sat 25.08.2012 Chelsea (a) @ 5.30pm

Sky Sports have also confirmed their picks as follows:

    Mon 17.09.2012 Everton (a) @ 8pm
    Sun 07.10.2012 Manchester United (h) @ 4pm
    Sun 21.10.2012 mackems (a) @ 1.30pm
    Sun 04.11.2012 Liverpool (a) @ 4pm

Live TV games have now been announced up to and including Wednesday November 28th 2012.

Two further fixture changes were announced by NUFC on Thursday as follows:

    Sun 02.09.2012 Aston Villa (h) 4pm
    Sat 13.04.2013 mackems (h) 1.30pm

This is just starters, how many more are we likely have changed.

Not too bad so far though apart from the Everton away game with a 8:00 pm KO meaning a late arrival home and a taxi fare on top of all the other expenses.

That's one of the games that was discussed. A hard game to go into straight off the back of another one.

To clarify that these aren't really 'rearranged', the fixtures that come out are provisional and always point to 'weekend of', so if anything these are confirmed fixture dates rather than rearranged. Rearranged would be the ones that change two weeks before the game after you've already bought your tickets, booked your travel and sorted your time off work...

The Villa game will have moved for us in Europe, and Sunderland for police reasons as usual though a 1:30 Saturday kickoff is unusual.

I heard it mentioned that London police didn't want any games there on the Sunday because of the Notting Hill Carnival, therefore Newcastle should never have been given a London away game there.

The Notting Hill Carnival is a big enough drain on the London Police, they're always run off their feet with it and consideration should have been given to it by the powers that be.

Yep, when the fixtures came out it was known there was going to be this clash, its whoever is responsible for making sure all the fixtures are compatible who should have ensured Newcastle weren't in London.
