This hints at the fact that West Ham flew to play us on Sunday ? Madness, it's only a couple of hours on a luxury coach. With there being no scheduled flights between Bristol and London I don't see how they managed this unless they chartered a private aircraft. West Ham striker Diafra Sakho was driven to Bristol at the weekend in a limo in order to get him to the game. With the forward still claimed to be suffering the effects of an injury, manager Sam Allardyce told Talksport he was unable to fly with the rest of the squad, and alternative transport had to be arranged. He said: "He's still unable to fly. We had to drive him down in a limo on Saturday afternoon,
Many people saw him exiting the team coach, the flying bit was because he was asked to report for international duty and be inspected by his countries physios, West Ham refused that. He looked fairly fit to me when rising at the far post to head the winner though!!
'He looked fairly fit to me when rising at the far post to head the winner though!!' And me, to out jump Wagstaff was magnificent.
Given that Wagstaff was 5 yards behind play and tethered by his leaden boots to planet Earth instead of reading the game, Sakho didn't have much of a challenge to contend with.......
