... not written by a Leicester fan.

I've defended Bruno in the past usually during England games in pubs full of knob heads under the delusion that we are going to win the tournament we were playing in ..

This article just about sum Bruno up for me .. it also highlights one of the facts that his detractors would rather not have pointed out i.e in the one season that he was played as Liverpool's main striker (Michael Owen having been injured at Derby with a kick in the head) he weighedin with over 20 goals ..

Worth a read I hope you will agree - would love to see him come home and be paired with Vardy next season .. just a thought :emoticon-0115-inlov

I think Heskey would come back but i doubt Nigel would be interested. Sven asked Heskey last season if he wanted to come back and he said not at that time. I think that was his chance

Imagine Heskey and Vassell as your strike force. They would probably end the season with about 10 goals between them

Seems we are forgetting NUGGENT in all this. Next seasons main STR for me unless we buy a massive STR that is.

Very pleased with this article- I've had to defend Heskey on many occasions, notably with my Stoke City supporting friends (despite the fact he'd be a great option for their long-ball game) and was very upset when he bore the criticism in the last world cup, forcing his retirement, when in my opinion he was one of the few on the pitch who actually tried. Much more than Rooney, in any case, who doesn't seem to give a **** when wearing England colours. Would love to see Heskey back again!

    Not for me.

He is/was a bit like Stevie Howard. Strong but doesn't score enough goals

I would like us to bring someone in who can gave us the Steve Howard option if needed. Against West Ham we didnt have it and Nigel just threw Wes Morgan up front.

Harry Kane has been linked and he is decent in the air

He was playing for Villa on Sunday, i doubt Villa will want to get rid of him atm.
If we were to have him back, we'd need the Andy King we had last season to be able to feed off of him along with Nugent.

Do we need to start another comeback champaign to get him back

It got Stourbridgefox and I used to be John Fallen back. You have to have a heart of stone not to come back

Heskey would be a free. His contract expires in the summer and Villa have told him he wont be getting a new one. Nugent and Heskey up top would be class with Vardy and Waghorn backing them up

    ^ absolutely class.

we almost cant afford not to!! What he would allow the other striker to do would be invaluable.

Taking off the Blue tinted goggles for a sec, if it does go through, then i can already hear the dickheads on the moan-in saying that he works hard but doesn't score enough.

If hes used the same way as Howard was, there prob won't be a problem, as it would be the last ditch long ball effort to grab a point or three, but starting him will ruin his reputation here, as our fans have got real bitter and complain about the smallest things.

Heskey wouldnt score enough but he would set up alot of goals

When Heskey played for us before he wasnt prolific but he scored his fair share

Vill also used him in midfiel behind the front two - I watched a couple of those games - his touch and creativity were really impressive (of course it largely went unnoticed because HE DIDN'T SCORE HIMSELF!!)
