I only watched the second half today. Wigan looked liked they wanted it more for about 20 minutes and we scored against the run of play. Mackie and Nelson looked committed, Green did well overall, but some of the players still need a kick up the a**e.

Our transfer policy was all wrong we didn't buy the defenders or strikers we clearly needed so Hughes messed up big time. Signing big players who were either free transfers or for minimal fees, but paying big wages, was the wrong thing to do. Most are proving they are well past the best, their only achievement is to give us a new premier league record of no wins after 16 games.

Unless we have some major changes in January we are probably down and out.

Shame that you missed the first half, because we were quite good. Very similar to the AV game.

Yes, but we were in control. Away from home and in control is good, isn't it?

Only if you capitalise on it and make the opposition pay just like we didnt do last week against AV.

Totally, there's optimism and then there's delusion. Yourself and Oddball fall into the latter category.

Turn it in lads for God's sake. This group of charlatans have no more stomach for the fight than the man on the moon.

No Swords, you should turn it in. We have a lot of games left, one of the best managers in the PL, brilliant fans and good backers. WUM-off!

But Totally, have you seen the work-rate or lack of it from our players this season including today? Its shocking. That alone will get you relegated.

Thank you Mark Hughes. Thanks a fu*king bunch.

From an outsiders viewpoint you shouldn't give up yet. There are a load of matches in the Christmas period. You just need a slice of luck to get that first win and then who knows. I really hope you do it, it will be Harry's finest moment.

For me it comes down to this - be optimistic and believe or give up - in December! Big turn around required, granted, but it's clearly not over, there's a lot of points left to play for. Why give up?

I agree with you about the completely incompetent MH, but the last three games have not shown a lack of desire or work-rate. Wigan played very well after the break and we were under the cosh, but that had nothing to do with players not trying.
Use your energy in getting behind 'Arry!

Went to the game today - elements of it not as bad as Swords suggests. However, I think is getting increasingly difficult to see how we're gonna escape: not enough firepower and I absolutely s**t myself every time a cross comes in.

Exactly, you might as well go into hibernation for 6 months if the outcome of the remaining 22 games is such a foregone conclusion.

Too much to play for still to abandon hope.

It's a long shot but football is the stuff of dreams.

Yeah, I kinda hope you don't. Nothing personal, but Harry is a over rated dinosaur who needs to remind people his record really is not that good. He makes it seem better because the press love 'car window 'arry'.

I was there today giving my backing along with the other 1000 or so rangers fans but unfortunately there were five or six on the pitch who werent backing him and by the looks of them never will.

Sorry Husky, I'll take that as fact because all I had was a Mickey Mouse stream and a radio. Its not even 20% comparable to being sat in the ground to be fair. Its good to hear that it wasn't quite as bad as it sounded.

Well done to you, Ruislip and all the boys (& gals) that were up there. The noise you made made it sound like we were the home side!

No need to apologise, it's sometimes more frustrating watching on the laptop than being there which is what I also usually do.

They came out really fired up in the second half and played some real nice pass and move football which we had no response to. Although Cisse scored he was an absolute c**t the rest of the time - a real disgrace who just plays for himself and spent most of the time complaining to the ref.

Didn't really understand the Adel substitution - took Mackie out of the game and removed the only player for us who plays between the lines.
