With the announcement by Aston Villa that Paul Lambert has been appointed their new manager, I think its time for many supporters and posters on here to come of age.
I'm not knocking City supporters or posters as we are all bound by the same DNA of football. But since the dire times of the 90's, the attitude at Norwich has been one of tremendous support and a naiveity mixed with worship. That's quite nice actually. Norwich and its supporters are bloody good people and a credit to the area.
But when things turn out like they have today, many supporters and posters will feel betrayed after the adoration, pride and credit they gave Paul Lambert. But in reality, he has done nothing wrong. He feels he is going to better himself. Enough said. That's his opinion and he is welcome to it. That is football and with the rewards available nowadays, understandable.
Dave, Maestro, ILD, KIO and others have seen the comings and goings for so many years, they are numb to it all. And younger ones like Supers and Zog have the nous to see it for what it is.
So come on lads and lasses, we are probably going to entice someone to come and "give us a hand", and the roundabout will continue to turn. But in the future, accept the game for what it is and "we won't get fooled again".

    Well said that man.
What we need now is for the club to sort out the right man as quickly as possible. Although it needs to be done quickly, we do need the right man for the job. I'm sure that the board and in particular McNally know who they want and I'm sure they will do us proud and find us a new hero.

We are all part of the system whether we like it or not.... clubs like colchester, posh and more recently leeds feed us in turn we have fed villa and I expect others as some of our players reach maturity and leave. I genuinly thought Lambert would have had one more yearwith us but oh well onwards and upwards to a debt free premiership NCFC..... never thought I would be thinking that 3 years ago!

Did you not read ILD's comments about Holty mate? I'd hardly say he was "numb to it all" on the evidence of his rants to be honest.
