Realistically, does it really matter who we bring in.....?

Because as you know no matter who comes they will soon be broken spirited, played out of position, fall foul of the wrath of Pulis if they ever question anything he does and introduced to the boring negative style of play that we have grown accustomed to under the Pulis way of playing football!

Probably one of the first transfer windows that has totally disinterested me as we have seen good players come and go and no massive difference ever taken place.

He's just after players to get us survive once more and no real ambition to push on forward. That's why we are constantly linked with defenders and defensive midfielders. No attackers or play making midfield men. Kightly and Cameron were both good signings I'll agree to that one, but for how long before they too get disillusioned with our style of play?

Both myself and Potts have said it before, why go looking for million pound players when there is a wealth of good young youth talent out there that could do a similar job!

He should have taken a leaf out of Swindon's book the old capped one!

In sort no. It takes time for a manager to develope a team an style and evolve them - for which TP has realistically had 3 years and 6 transfer windows - so I can't see it changing now.

A few of us have often said that we could sign Messi and he would either be on the bench or used a LB!

lol @ Messi on the bench, probably right there!

When you think about the money and talent we have wasted it beggars belief.

I just hope tomorrow does not see a round of panic buying and bringing in more Tat!

Seems like he is pursuing Charlie adam now over Huddlestone which to be honest i defo would not mind at all as he can score as well as play make.

Would love too see some fresh young talent though instead of the tired old prem players that have done the rounds.

What saddens me Waddo is simple enough..
We have a manager whom we know is simply not good enough to persuade GOOD player's to stay here. It sickens me beyond words because you and I both know Waddo. We've seen years of tat football until promotion to the Premier Leage.. it was'nt too bad the first two years, we've all said as such but since then..
    It's been all downbank.

I could weep when I think that as good as Tuncay (could have been for us with other additions) in the end, he simply did'nt want to know.. and was off. PULIS fell out with him, Kitson, Beattie and a few more along the way. ALL of those we're very GOOD player's.

I don't really care who we sign truth be told lads.. and in short to answer your question Waddo.

    NO it won't.

P.S. My son in law went to the training ground this morning and no sign of Ehterington NOR Palacios or Jamie Ness? Is Ehterington on his way out? I think he may be.
Seem's we're stuck with Rory, Mama and a few more who should have left some two seasons ago!

Potts I agree with most of what you say,but I would like to add that none of the three mentioned have `pulled up any trees`since leaving. The biggest dissappointment for me has to be Palacios,I know he hasn`t been given much of a chance, but when he has come on he looks very SLOW and doesn`t seem to know who he`s marking.I was really looking forward to him playing for us but Harry Redknap definately pulled the wool over our eyes on that one!!WE`ve now signed Charlie Adam but like Waddo I can`t get too excited because I`m sure he won`t be given the freedom to attack like Holloway gave him at Blackpool, and from what I have read on the Liverpool site a lot of them are glad he`s going!

Mr P seems to have issues with talented players, is it an "I'm in charge and you'll do as I say thing", or is he frightened of their talent in some way, does he think free thinking undermines him. i don't know, but I will be glad to see the back of him unless there is a real revolution in the way that we play and I don't think he knows any other way.
