With Bruce at the helm and Quinn in midfield, i do not see how we will not go up this year all we need is a striker in january.

What do you all think of the situation?

Consensus has already been made on this... get a top quality striker in and "there's no reason why we can't get promoted".

Not happening. We'll finish 6th at best. Two defeats against Leicester and Leeds will be the start of a Winter slide down the table.

I think we will get in the Play Offs, however, if we get a striker in January, then I see no reason as to why we can't get an automatic place!

So if Quinn breaks his leg on Boxing Day.......?

We've had a hot little streak like most teams do at some stage in the season- will it last ?

Our first quarter results were notably inferior to the second quarter- which is the real City?

The last thing we need is big time Charlies, complacency and over-expectant fans putting pressure on our team.

We need some luck with the loans, stay free of injuries and some clinical finishing from somewhere.

As far as I am aware, EVERY SINGLE CLUB IN EVERY DIVISION IS LOOKING TO SIGN SOME BETTER STRIKERS IN JANUARY .

    So don't hold your breath.

Let's hope SB doesn't get the sack as his predecessor did for failing to sign a striker in the January window.

We have to be real, no club ever in the history of the Championship has kept up the form we have at the mo but as stated above if we sign a top quality striker and keep people fit I reckon we can nick 2nd or go up via the play offs. <ok>

A top six place is ours to throw away and this being the mighty tigers they may give that a go. Most likely, we will end up in the top six. Could we finish in the top two? maybe.

If we do not end up in an automatic promotion place then it becomes a lottery type situation. Could we beat any of our rivals over two legs, maybe, maybe not.

If we could get past the obstacle of a two legged semi, could we sell our full allocation of tickets for a wembley final? unlikely, imo

Promotions a long way off yet, keep doing what were doing and work hard as a team then well see where we are come the end of season. We,re playing well but we havent won nothing yet, time for everyone to keep their feet on the grounds for a little while longer at least. But we sure do look damned fine at the moment.

We have as good a chance as anyone of winning this league this year. There are no teams that are better than us. I would be happy with the play offs as that was what we were hoping for before the season started but i honestly think we are certainly good enough to finish top two and possibly win it

Hopefully less numpties and hangers-on this time - unlike May 2008.

We're only half way through the season, anything could happen.

I think we will have a better idea on the chances in 10 games. A lot can happen before the end of the season. Top 6 for me and I will be happy.

I can't believe that while we're sat in 2nd people are discussing whether it's possible that we could finish there.

Of course we ****ing can, we're already there! Whether we actually will or not is another question because of course anything can happen, but questioning if its even a possibility is incredibly negative.

I don't see why so many are being negative or cautious... it's about ****ing time we had something to cheer about and I'm sick of this attitude we seem to have always bloody pessimistic... as if "this can't surely continue, we are bound to falter/fail eventually"

We'll go up if we don't lose to anyone below us in the table as it stands....we never draw so we'll just have to keep on winning. I'd take a 1-0 against festa right now!
