What do all you tangerines think you will do this season, you seem at the minute to be selling all of your players and not really getting any replacements, do you think that you can ever replace Charlie Adam, he was awesome for you last year and it is a shame that you culd not have stayed up because you put the banana skins under a few of the 'biggies' last year, good luck for the coming season it would be great to see you go back up again as runners up to Leicester city
I think that most of us were more concerned at losing Vaughan rather than Adam tbh. However, in answer to your question, although Charlie's will be big boots to fill, we have a highly rated and majorly under-used French guy called Sylvestre (not the ex-Manure full-back) who only made a handful of appearances last season due to the unbreakable nature of Vaughan and Adam's midfield partnership. In addition, we have one of our major signings from last summer, Chris Basham, who we signed from Bolton for a rumoured £1mill, but who missed almost the entire season with injury, so watch this space. We do, however, need to wisely start splashing the cash though in certain areas to try and ensure we finish nearer the right end of the table. What's the deal with all of your spending anyway? Affordable due to wealthy backers or potentially ploughing the same furrow as before?
HULL CITY FAN IN PEACE. I think that Ian Holloway has done much better business this summer than waister Sven @ Leicester City. The likes of Adam, Vaughn and Campbell were sure to go regardless. But your business has been very good. I am going to measure my team Hull City by the game on friday 5th against you guys. I feel that Blackpool will be top 2 for sure. I really wanted you guys to stay up and like us took the Pl by storm for a while. Good luck for the season ahead but only after the first game (lol). I will miss Holloway on MOTD and SSN conferences.
