I'm surprised we never bought Bobby Zamora. It seems, when you look at Benteke, Carroll, Adam, Lovren and Bogdan, there has been a period when the sole criterion for buying a player has been whether or not they had one good game against us.

Stick Ward between the jumpers for the FA Cup replay at Anfield. Can't be any worse than that clown Godban. He's probably not ready for PL game time yet but if Mignolet drops another classic why not try him out there too. Two clowns between the sticks all they need is a squirty flower and the tiny bike, they've already got the big clumsy shoes and stupid hands.

Its kind of funny that the only player klopp didn't bring back is the only one with any prem experience. God only knows why. Rodgers loaned them all out. klopp has i think decided that young lads are better off here than off at lower clubs. that would included kent, ojo and wilson, perhaps stewart. He has also dragged Ward back off a pretty successful loan, even if its the scottish league and ilori back from his disaster. Are they for first team or for cover? One guy could have easily stayed and played til may. the other was worthless where he was. Perhaps klopp thinks he's very well served at RB right now and got told by whomever wisdom is a RB not a CB. i dunno. The result of all this is a better u21 team but i'm not sure our first are much better.... However.... klopp may have one eye on a coupel rounds of europa where our squad is effectively 20 players plus u21s and having ojo, kent etc back = some options.
