No longer will we have to put up with whiney Mancs telling us that "United are biggest club in't world. "

They are not, and it's not a wum. It's fact.

Other clubs will, I am sure, also overtake them, in time.

Yeah, what have I missed? Real were considered the biggest club in European football when I was a kid in the sixties. Don’t think that’s ever changed really? Only Inter have ever come close to challenging that status on the European stage.

What makes a "big" club?

Back in the old days, when United used to win things, having the tag "world's biggest club" was a decent boast, now it would be embarrassing.

 

Is it not? They seem to have been playing there for sometime now.

Tbh I’ve always thought Real were the biggest club in the world anyway. I think the moment they took Ronaldo from Utd somewhat cemented that. They can sign any player in the world they want with perhaps the exception of someone who plays in a Barca shirt, though they’ve even done that in the past!

 

I assume you are referring to the club income list in which Real Madrid topped? (and Barca are second)

Biggest is very vague and subjective. Biggest income for the yearly is factual.
