Today's media reports suggest Real Madrid are going to offer Karim Benzema plus 20m for Luis Suarez in January. Firstly if true Real are miles off with their valuation. Secondly I feel it's just media bullshit trying to upset a resurgent Luis Suarez. Before we played the mancs these stories emerged and then died and now surprise surprise the week we play arsenal the media is full of it again. Thoughts on both scenarios... If true would you accept it? Or do you feel it's the media trying to unsettle Luis/us because we are flying for a change?

if real fail to win anything this season i can see them getting desperate for a top quality player like suarez to appease the fans. i can see us holding out for 90 to 100 million if they actually come in for him. there is no way we will sell him in the jan transfer window.

No coincidence this ****e has come up this week. So Real want Suarez? I think they wiil be concentrating on getting monkey boy up to speed first. Will they bid for him? Quite possibly, he is world class after all. Would he want to go to Real? Yes. However we have shown this year we won't be ****ed about. So either bid in or around the Bale price or **** right off This may be the last season we see Luis in a Red shirt but if that is the case you can bet your ass we will make a stack of cash on him (as long as he keeps his teeth to himself for a year).
I suspect they will try with a in January. The trouble with Real Madrid is they do these big deals but never pay all up front. They probably still owe us money for Owen! I would be surprised if we let him go in January, but could see him going in the Summer whether we get Champions league or not. We should only accept cash £100m at least, that's what I would put him up for on Ebay with no buy it now option.
The difference between Bale and Suarez is the brand. Suarez has none and Bales is potentially worth quite a bit to Real. they didnt buy a player, they bought a marketing tool. You'll probably get 50, at a push. You would also accept. ts not as if you are rolling in it tbh.
